Members, their Guests and Visitors are required to wear suitable clothing when on the Golf Course or in the Club House:-
ON THE COURSE:- All Golfers are expected to wear appropriate golf shoes with socks.
MEN Shorts should be “tailored” and worn together with sports socks. Shirts should be of a style recognised for Golf and tucked in Track suits, Football or Rugby kit, blue Denims, Cargo & Combat gear, other Collarless T shirts and cropped trousers are not acceptable.
LADIES Shorts and skirts should be tailored and worn no higher than just above the knee. Cropped trousers may be worn but must be tailored. Shirts must normally be tucked in but may be worn outside if they have a hemmed band or side slits. Whilst shirts may be sleeveless, they should have a collar.
JUNIORS – as above but they may wear Trainers or other sports shoes suitable for golf. Juniors may also wear [clean] trainers in the Club House.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE Smart, clean Casual clothing is the minimum requirement at all times. All the above specifics apply but members & guests are particularly asked not to enter the club rooms wearing soiled or wet clothing. Gentlemen are asked to wear socks when wearing any type of sandal or open shoe. Trainers, Golf shoes, or other shoes worn for golf are not permitted! Waterproof clothing & Caps or other head gear, are not acceptable wear in the Club Rooms.
